The opportunity

This role will see you report to the Quality Assurance Manager and work closely with the Quality Department to develop your language and knowledge and in turn produce effective marketing campaigns and promotional pieces for our established and varied product portfolio.  If you are looking for an opportunity to expand your skills in marketing and a product you love, this is a great opportunity to join our experienced team.

This role is Permanent Full time, working from a modern office space in an inner-eastern Melbourne suburb.

As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for content creation, direction and publishing of digital content, internal education, SEO, analytics, executing digital marketing on our website and leveraging opportunities across our wide and varied customer base. This role will also align with the Quality and Sales Departments to execute product samples and product information directly to customers.

You will possess a desire to enrich the Bennetts brand and communicate our brand message and values consistently across all marketing activities. For the right candidate this offers an amazing opportunity to work in an inspiring team in a fast-moving and thriving industry sector.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

  • Previous experience in a similar role (but if you don’t, just tell us why you’d still be brilliant)
  • Tertiary education – ideally with a degree in Marketing
  • Strong coffee industry knowledge preferred
  • High attention to detail, taking pride in accuracy, timeliness and upholding the brand integrity
  • An outgoing, positive approach and confident in dealing with people
  • Working knowledge of social, email and sales promotional marketing
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks to ensure timely implementation of campaigns/promotions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate within a team environment
  • A passion for developing educational and storytelling content
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Advanced PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written English and proofreading skills
  • Creative thinking with a natural ability to bring new ideas and concepts to the table
