COVID-19 has brought customers closer to their local cafés, and those cafés closer to their suppliers, than ever before.
It has also highlighted the importance of coffee as a connector and supporting local, because we’re all in this together.
Riverina Fresh is one business doing its best to foster and encourage those relationships. In May they hosted a virtual coffee chat discussing the state of the coffee industry, and tips to making cafe-quality coffee at home “Home-ground: Live with Australia’s Specialty Coffee Experts”. This was followed up by the Riverina Fresh “Home Barista Challenge” where home baristas were given the opportunity to support their local cafes and showcase their home coffee game during isolation.
The 100% Australian owned dairy company has now put together this great video with a few familiar faces to celebrate coffee and say “thank you” to everyone who supported their local café through COVID-19.
