Team Leader – Coffee Machine Technician – Brewtech



We are opening a branch in Hobart, Tasmania! Founded in 2015, Brewtech has grown to be a professional team who customise, service and repair La Marzocco espresso machines both onsite -at the café or home- and in our workshops.

The opportunity

If the drive to create, fix, repair, organise, coordinate, lead and your passion for coffee is what gets you up in the morning, then our Team Leader – Coffee Machine Technician is the role you’re looking for.

As the primary contact for the Tasmania Brewtech Workshop, the key responsibilities include:

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge on repairing La Marzocco Coffee Machines, grinders and associated products
  • Restore, repair and customise coffee machines
  • Setup of coffee machines and grinders

Customer Service Skills

  • Responding and attending to customer enquiries
  • Troubleshooting over the phone
  • Raising purchase orders

Teamwork and team building

  • Scheduling On-Road Field Technicians to suitable job orders
  • Ensuring all Field Technicians are fully supplied and equipped with the right materials
  • Cross – collaboration with other roles within the company

Occ. Health & Safety

  • Maintain safe plant (machinery and equipment)
  • Report hazards and be an advocate for safety in establishing the workshop

Above all, we are looking for someone with an inherent love for coffee who is cool and fun to work with.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

As a Team Leader – Coffee Machine Technician you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Be a leader. Take ownership of what you do and inspire other to perform at their best of their capabilities.
  • Customer-focused with a 5-Star service provision
  • Be mechanically savvy
  • Full and valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout TAS as required
  • Attention to detail with an eye-to-hand coordination
  • Provide emergency support with a positive, can-do attitude
